Have you scanned for fault codes?

uprate your battery as you should do with any mods that require extra power, i had this issue with a double din headunit, new battery sorted it out no problems

Update the battery? The alternator powers the electrics once the car is on. Although change the battery if it is on its way out.

Make sure the remote wire from the head unit is connected to the amp properly.

Then I would check which power connection is being used for the head unit. One will keep the head unit powered while the car is off and the other will only power it when the keys are in the ignition.

no "uprate" if the battery tests in the 50% marks and only short journeys are used your not getting a full charge and as a result the battery is used more often than not, as said i changed my battery and it works 100% better

Remote lead in amp incorrectly fitted? Leaving amp on at all times?

Could well be a coil. Hard to diagnose over the internet though. Could even be a temp sensor, throttle body needing a clean etc.

Clio I bought to sell was doing exactly this and just needed a throttle clean as wasn't quite letting enough air past when cold. Was fine when warm though and was spot on after a clean. Try free things first. Best bet would be to pay for a diagnosis though.

Where all my moneys went.

the revs dipping could be related to the battery, most places will test the battery for free, so get it tested.

Next as mentioned I would try unplugging the electrical connection on the MAF and see if that's any better, then move onto other things
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

revs dipping dont forget the more power you use the more strain on the altenator to deal with the current load
