GTI Dealer Discounts?

When I've worked the figures back and the extra given on my px (polo pcp ends in sept and I'm 18k over my mileage allowance at 6p mile) plus the 3.5% off list I got approx £1700 off, about 6-7%. That's just through negotiation with a dealership and no Internet specials.

Wish I was so lucky. The stumbling block for me finalising a deal is the p/e valuation they are putting on my car. Can't quite get an agreement but hopefully soon.

Getting about £1600 of the list price. I'm about £500 shy on what I want for my car. The problem is them trying to calculate what it will be worth in say 4-5 months time. So close but yet so far just now.
