Strut brace tired up, fitting tips?

Hey guys, my adjustable strut brace turned up today and I have to say I got this for a complete steal!!!! anyhoo tired it up agasnt the car today and seems a good fit just after advice on best way to fit it?  :cool:

get some big self tappers and start drilling

Tape up the top of the struts so you can see where to drill after you mark the holes and dont forget to put a drop of paint on any bare metal to stop it from rusting. Also if you drill say 10mm hole and get 8mm bolts it will give you some movement when bolting in the brace to get it to sit better.  Get some bolts with a nice allen key head will make it look a bit more factory than dirty big bolts.

Bit off topic and irrelevant on this forum but if you had a strut brace and airlift struts do the holes match up or do you have to drill 6 holes ?

Well my neighbour was on about using his drill and a self tred making tool is that what you mean?

Drill holes, touch up the edges (around the inside of the hole) to stop rust, and get some heavy duty nuts/bolts and thread lock, I would double nut them to make sure too..............

That well cheap!! Pictures when fitted all up please. And let us know if strutbrace makes a difference. Really want one but dont wanna drill my struts if it makes no difference. My last car i could tell straight away

Was just meaning incase the drill bit slips you won't mark the paint.
