which ecu to use on my 20vTurbo?
« on: 28 March 2013, 08:07 »
Hi, i have a choice of 2 looms and ecu's for my 20vturbo which is out of a mk4 golf (AGU) but cant decide which loom and ecu to use, wondering which one would be best to use to gain most BHP when i get it remapped.

Either...

-Quantum Performance Engineering plug and play wiring loom and ECU (aftermarket loom + ecu)

OR

-Audi S3 me7.5 (180bhp) engine loom and ecu.

Thanks.

Standard Ecu is the best as there is more control and safeties although you need I make sure you have dbw and all the other sensors/vvt in place unless you bypass them.

R-tech custom remap - k04-001- 250bhp/311ftlb

"Project track car" has begun
