Catch can options
« on: 27 March 2013, 17:35 »
Hi I'm going to be fitting a catch can (finally) when the British weather gets milder.
What's the most common catch can people go for as I want to keep it simple & look OEM ?
Cheers.

All the piping is 19mm, I went for an ebay square black one and got some adapters made, cost all in (piping etc) less than the Michi alone
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

I really dont think you need that metal scourer in there my man.
It's not really separating anything and it looks like your returning back to the TIP. Wouldn't fancy any of that making its way to the turbo.

The type of can I hav isn't baffled hence the reason why stainless steel scourers help slow down air speed (allowing the oil vapor time to drop from the air)....what do others who hav catch cans use ?
