Sures its the MFA? On the right stick tells you the MPG, MPH, Time Oil temp etc etc

Well, had moonsoon rain yestaday and noticed that themiles done was 1576 and time driving 64:33 hours :O and the MPG was stuck. All that worked was the time, Oil temp and outside temp

This a common fault? Car is 18 years old, but if theres a way to prevent it by putting a bag over something be greatfull :)

there not normally effected by rain!!! lol, disconnect your battery and leave it for 5/10 mins then reconnect and have a go.......

if you can still toggle between the modes then you stalk is still ok, if after reconnecting the battery its still the same you might need a new/secondhand set of clocks as they do go wrong!! try the battery thing 1st though!!
