1. No Carbon Grey metallic?  Boooooo!
2. No heated windscreen?  I'm sure there was talk of this.
3. In some pictures, the GTD has two colour wheels (like the Seattle Shadows) and in others, the wheels are the usual alloy colour without any black to be seen.  Make your mind up, VW.

Oh, and:

GTD 5 door + DSG + Oryx White + Winter Pack + Discover Pro + Dynaudio + Side airbags + ACC + Park Assist + Rear view camera + Colour display = £32385.  Ouch.

Overpriced at £34,802 (when well specced) and without £1000 Performance Pack. Too expensive for a car which is not Premium and which is too slow in comparison to the BMW M135i (£37,905 when well specced) and too expensive when compared to a BMW 125iM Sport (£34,710 when well specced). The Mk7 R will probably be the one for grown ups.

Hi everyone,

Been following this topic for a few days now.

Who says discounts aren't possible ?  basically got nearly 5%

Went to my dealer today and gave him my desired spec and it came to  £32,155 and I said I only want to pay £31k. He went and spoke to his manager and 15 mins later he was congratulating me ;)

However, he also said that when the official pricing comes out I would have to pay any difference if it was higher than the printed off price list I took with me (the one off the posted link) and vice versa. Meaning if the total price comes to less than the our agreed price I would enjoy the benefit too.

So at late afternoon my discount was £1155 and now it's £1390 !!

I chose:

Ye that was my preferred colour too :( Haven't decided on the colour yet though.
