bmw isn't a premium brand it's a common brand
BMW= Mainstream. Ok I agree but it is common :smug:

It's good to believe in something even if it is dilusional.

Can you get heated seats without selecting leather then?

The winter pack (£350) comes with heated seats.

was speccing one of these up for Mrs W as she is thinking of ordering in a couple of months time to replace the Pirelli, have to say standard spec is pretty good on these so not many options were ticked

i'd tick performance pack for the brakes and lsd alone, she wanted the 19s which are a bit steep in terms of cost

What's your opinions on leather seats? I rather like the look of them and having sat in a GT with leather seats in the showroom they felt rather comfy! Though I've heard they can take a lot of effort to maintain.... Either way I'll be going with heated seats - but do you think leather is worth it?

IMO No. The 'leather' will start to look worn very quickly.  This is due to the modern processing/manufacturing process with most cars these days unfrotunately.

From the photos I've seen, it appears that the standard seats are decent quality anyway - they look like ED30 seats with leather / alacantara side bolsters and headrests. Unless that's a cheaper "upgrade" than full leather...?

From what i can see thats not a UK option, we only get cloth or leather, no half leather alacantara option, at present.

we also don't get the heated windscreen for some reason either? I was hoping it was part of the winter pack, as £350 for heated seats and heated washers is a bit steep, as you already have headlamp washers.

Urban   56.5
Extra urban   78.5
Combined   68.9

This must be an error for the GTI right?
