B1 oxygen lambda sensor no signal
« on: 24 March 2013, 19:25 »
Hi all,

I've just had the car checked with vcds and it showing a fault for B1 oxygen lambda sensor ( no signal... Or something similar ).

I'm not sure what this is but the sensor is only one week old and it was new when replaced .

Can anybody shed some light on what this could mean please its a 2.0 gti

1.8t's are very sensitive to the type of sensors used.
Genuine seems to be the only way.

Cheap o2 sensors are crap across board. Either genuine or bosch id say.
