I'm getting average 23 mpg guys that's steady driving is that about right? I do have engine light on witch I think could be disintegrated breather off crankcase (y shaped pipe)
standard gti turbo (aum     4 now

should be better than that but 1st fix the pipe it will defo help  :smiley:

I average 19mpg  :laugh:
but it totally depends how you drive

around 70 Mph on Motorway I get 39mpg. Around streets i get 28mpg. Steady driving that is.

My last full tabk of fuel avg me about 28-31mpg and i got 340 miles out of it. Thats mixed driving and i got a boost leak somewhere....

I have had a few turbos now the one I have at the mo does about 32-34 MPG, I had one that did 40 MPG and I thrashed it  :grin:

i know my lower breather pipe is split and i still get 39 on a 32 mile MW trip.

what sort of distance are you doing? the busted pipe wont be helping.

240 out of a tank here (no motorway) and giving it the beans 75% of the time (it's my toy)
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

I average 28mpg using it as a daily, thats mainly at 30-40mph
