Well I have a small issue with my heated rear screen, it keeps blowing the fuse. I have changed the switch for one I know is fine and checked the wiring (as much as possible)

Are there any other things to check?

I am guessing the earth but I don't know where that is located, and what do i need to check, also it's possible i have a faulty heated mirror which i guess would cause the same fuse blow as they share the circuit?

any advice welcomed

Did you check the wires in the rubber bellow, could be touching to an earth wire causing the short circuit....

check the resitance across the heating element, then you can calculate the load (amps) and that might explain the blowing fuses.  Does it blow instantly when turned on, or after a while?
You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

it's hard to say, I think it blows with the ignition? (It was fine until i restarted the engine... I think?)

I will check resitance this weekend, I am also going to unplus it and see if the mirrors blow it?

yeah check anything else on that fuse too.

I will check that when I get some new fuses this weekend! i think it's only when the switch is turned on and ignition is initially turned on (it seems to be fine other times?)
