«

Hey guys. Just got a reading on my car saying the oxygen sensor is completely out... Hopefully that explains my sh!tty mileage...
Anyway:) , which replacement should I get? Looking for the cheapest, not original VW or Bosch or w/e. Also how many leads is it? Any guides on changing it? Appreciate any links
Cheers.

The cheapest is likely to fail on install or shortly after with something like this, even the genuine ones can be tempremental. Just one plug, sits on a bracket on top of the driver side engine mount, best off trying to un-do the sensor itself when the exhaust is still pretty warm, be careful not to burn yaslef tho

Does anyone have a pic of its location? And how hard do you reckon it will be?

if its not seized in, its easy enough as long as you can get under the car. Its just before the cat, just behind the engine bay. You'll need a set of crows-foot spanners, to get a purchase on it.

4 wires from memory - get a bosch one, don't get a cheapo rubbish. Mine was either £45 or £60 from memory.

Mate like everyone has said dont get a cheapo one as it wont last. Thats a cheap one. You need to get bosch one as it will last longer. You need to buy one that has the plug on, it this dont.
Go cheap replace twice!!!

The above sensor in the link will NOT work. When you wire it up the extra plugs / connectors alter the resistance to and from the sensor giving false readings and therefore not working putting you back to square one
