wet floor & carpets.. weld up drain plug holes?
« on: 19 February 2013, 17:33 »
my drivers side carpets were wet so I did some investigation to find this:

no rust but one of the drain plugs had broken so wet was getting everywhere, the underlay was soaked. what should I do? is it ok to just weld some plate straight over where the plug was?

cheers

cover the area with some underseal both sides and pop another rubber bung in (halfords, homebase etc do a selection normally). Why spend lots on welding when they can be useful
