ask yourself the question why rx8`s are so cheap and why there are so many for sale and why there are so many non runners for sale too. granted they look quite a nice car but thats it. no body can afford to put petrol in em and they are very unreliable,hence so many non runners on autotrader for example.
mk3 gti"s and vr6"s,present a silver mk4 anniversary on adjustable coilovers.

ask yourself the question why rx8`s are so cheap and why there are so many for sale and why there are so many non runners for sale too. granted they look quite a nice car but thats it. no body can afford to put petrol in em and they are very unreliable,hence so many non runners on autotrader for example.

Apart from the unreliability.

You sure? I'm bored of people saying my car keeps stalling and running rough and lumpy. Loads for sale for spares and repairs.

At least with the mazda you got something to put a engine into. The mk3 golf engine is placed in a rusty ship  :grin:

The engines are fine.

Sensors & hoses on high mileage cars are weak points, but then that is true for many cars.

The 2L 8v, 2L 16v & 2.8 12v are pretty tough, the ABF being especially good.

Mazda's rust just the same as VW's and the wankel rotary is one of the most unreliable engines ever commited to metal.
