I did it the S3 way, I too didn't like the pipework over the TIP, it is awkward to get the piping lined up, but looks good when you do, you will need the K04 rear charge pipe bracket support with heat shield or the charge pipe will get ridiculously hot
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

The bit above the pipe

You will need to get it from a breakers or somebody breaking a Leon Cupra R, 225 TT or S3
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

That support doesn't have the heat shield part attached it's just the bracket

I didn't use the standard (red pipe in pic)
I ordered a 63-51mm reducer at 90 degrees and it pushes the charge pipe more to the drivers side of the bay.
You will also need to get an LCR/S3/TT fuel rail as the standard 1.8T one will make the fuel lines impede/rub on the charge pipe
