Just a map won't require a bigger maf...is there any reason you think that your maf is faulty?

Around 12.5psi bud

I think it is less than that, my Octavia vRS was a max of 8psi standard and around 14/16psi mapped.

took it out today and gauge needle is hitting around 23psi, this car must have had a remap or something, plus with all the forge stuff on it it has to have been. had the car since november, its my1st turbo so on a steep learning curve lol im getting around 33 to 38mpg on journeys 25mile or longer if i drive it sensibly, does this sound right to any of you ? only asking bout the maf because when i bought it it soon became apparent that i needed a new one, since fitted 23psi is what ive been getting, thought u maybe needed a upgraded maf if u had a remap thats all. does 23 sound alot? and if not woould i still be getting the mpg im getting with that sort of boost ?  on the over hand could the boost gauge be faulty ? any advice greatly appreciated
