Im sure the AC loom is all integrated into the front engine loom. It's all wrapped together meaning you would have to cut the loom open.

Probably best to get an AC VR loom.

That's all I wanted to know. I might fix the vr up and sell on and then see what happens. Mk4 4mo would be nice.

The a/c plug is on my alternator loom which is part of the car loom, the part that runs to the battery and fan set up, just checked, OBD2 VR but I dont think that makes a difference  :wink:

Im sure the plug for the Air con pump is on my S3 engine loom, i dont have air con on my car so the plug is not used

The AC consists if many parts. One being a pressure sensor near the ecu under the scuttle, so it is integrated into the whole loom. I have AC just not running at the moment.
