I was in a bit of a car mood today. ordered some pressed plates and some new vw centres for the wheels

can't seem to get round to buying a panel filter for the smoothed airbox, but I made and fitted a heatshield from 2mm steel for the cone filter. don't know if it's a placebo but seems to have given her more grunt.
got VAGCOM working on my mac, hurrah! found out instantly the abs light was to do with a faulty rear d/s sensor, so ordered a new one of those.
fixed my sub too, so got my bass back! was driving round town blaring out Kate Bush at full volume earlier haha.
finally gave her more lows! was getting too much body roll (boat roll) round the corners so I went down by 20mm. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND though, set the heights exact all round from the rings to the bottom of the threads, and measured the strut lengths but when dropped there are slight variations in height each corner.. either the car is twisted ha or there's some bushing or something somewhere I need to replace. not got a clue on this.. need to get it set right so I can get it aligned though as the front tires are getting a bit camber'ey now lol

drives sooo much better now. you steer and it goes where you point it rather than getting that body roll.
