A few questions on getting different headlights
« on: 25 January 2013, 00:19 »
Im interested in a set of these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/volkswagen-golf-mk4-new-black-angel-eye-headlights-lexus-new-/160954074897?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item25799c4711

A few questions/worries though.

1. Will the headlight adjuster on the dash still work with them.

2. What bulbs are what? As in what lights up at what times?

3. A I going to end up spending more on bulbs than with standard ones over time because of the angel eyes and whatnot?

4. Are they 100% plug and play? I really don't want to have to feck about with them.

:)

Pretty sure for that money you could get anni headlights or almost even r32 xenons

And don't mean to sound rude but those look awful I wouldn't be paying 250 for that

I won't be paying that much, they're just the ones I was looking at. It's about 90 quid.

Just want some nice black/smoked lights. My golfs black and I like the blackout look.

Hey dya have any pics of how that looks? does it effect the light quality?

I'm not a fan of tacky, I'd prefer proper VW ones. Didn;t know about anni' so I'll have a look for some of them too.

It's not to hard I got it on eBay it's light tint headlit film or something there is a company that do specific to the car called lamin x but its a little bit more expensive.... It's not hard it's just a bit of a pain you really need to have some patience there is plenty vids on YouTube to see how it's done pal give it ago like I said for £10 it's worth a go
