I've got a Mk2 with a single wiper conversion, but the wiper arm currently on the car has the wrong size hole (7mm) where it attaches to the pin, but the pin is around 5mm~6mm diameter, so no matter how hard I try, the splines just don't grip.

A little bit embarrassed to be stuck on such a simple task to be honest, I think I've over-thought it in all fairness - Well, that is to say that the motor and entire assembly is on the floor next to me, not in the car - No real need to take it out  :huh:

Can anyone help me out? I found this http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/wiper-accessories/storm-single-wiper-straight-arm but I think Google shouldn't have indexed it, as it doesn't show in the DT catalogue.

What I'm basically on the scrounge for is a wiper arm with a 5mm~6mm hole, and no longer than 18" in length, don't care about the condition, as I can prep and spray it. If you have one kicking about, would you be a gent? If you can help me find one online, then beer tokens due  :smiley:

That seems to be the next logical step Chuff, and I almost refuse to believe that I can't get one online!  :undecided: But yes, I need the car back on the road, so needs must!

I got all of it bout 12 years ago which I think came from euro car parts. Never again, wasnt too good at its main purpose in life.
