Ok i have done it again with not updating often enough so now im going to have another monster update

Been very busy lately and made quite a bit of progress!
Start with something small...
i went around the car and fitted cable protections to all the wires in the car

Im going to say now i have done quite a bit but ave been so caught up in the work i haven't really taken that many pictures as i always forget

i refitted the tank and then fitted the rear axle

I then fitted the suspension, wheel bearings and the standard rear brakes (these will be getting upgraded shortly to 255mm discs when i get hold of some carriers but these will do for now)

I removed the ecu from the daily on saturday and sent it off along with the spare standard aum ecu i have to R-tech to have them both deimmo'd
i then over the last few days have been returning the daily to standard and switching all the bits onto the track car
i removed the 3" system off the daily leaving a nice space and a crappy looking rear valance

I then Spent quite a while (with very few pictures

) switching the turbos from one car to the other aswell as loads of other bits
this was the end result - a nearly standard looking engine bay!

I then fitted the standard zaust to the daily, the centre bracket had broken off so had to weld it...
first ever attempt at gas welding! Pretty messy but its stuck ok

I also switched the valances so the dailys is standard and recut the modified one to neaten it up a bit!

I then moved onto switchingover the intercoolers, switching the injectors and also painting the inner part of the drivers wing as it had a slight bit of rust

I then switched over the headlights....track car starting to look mean

the ths intercooler will be getting swapped for a wellycooler setup when i do the engine switch once the spare engine is rebuilt

A cheeky pic of the cold air feed

And with a mounting bracket made up (made need the position adjusting when i put the bumper on)

I then fitted all the boost pipes, tip, recirc, air filter etc to the track car

I then started looking at how i was going to convert the narrowband lambdas to wideband.
i found a guid but it had no pictures but managed to sort of sus it out

Luckily i have the spare engine loom that came with the engine i bought so looked in the plug and found where the two extra wires goto in the plug and found the empty spaces on the arz plug so that may be tomorrows job

Also while trying to remove the wipers and scuttle panel to get to the ecu i managed to break the windscreen

An expense added to the list that i could do without but sh*t happens i guess

Also i order some new arch liners as i had melted mine

They arrived so i got them fitted rear wheels can now go on and that's the back end done

I also swapped my bora vents from the daily

And a final pic showing the car starting to look pretty mean
im sure it will look even meaner with a wellycooler on

Some more work to do tomorrow so will try keep upto date
