Haha, that could be a problem...

Not 100% sure mate, but I had a similar issue in an old Punto I used to drive (first car, piece of cr*p) and it turned out I was running dangerously low on gearbox oil - might be worth a check. I got it topped up and the noise/vibration disappeared.

There are two holes on the gearbox that are designated for filling and draining the gearbox oil, the one at the bottom is for draining and the one on the side is for filling. On a flat ground ,you fill up the gearbox until it starts to flow out of the hole on the side which your filling from, at which point you know the gearbox is filled to the correct level.

So you can remove the plug on the side and see if gearbox oil starts to leak from the side and top up as necessary. Our gearbox don't have a level dipstick.

The irony being it's the dog teeth that are marking the noise as the synchros are worn.
Or your clutch is worn/not adjusted and it's not fully disengaging.

If it's one gear - it's the synchro that's worn.
If it's all gears, your clutch needs adjusting.

Its happening in all gears. Ill look at oil levels first get the cheapest out the way then go from there. Ill post weather or not it solves the problem.
