Outside temperature sensor

Where is the outside temperature sensor located?

I noticed that on my 8v gti the temperature reads -25!! Would a new sensor cure this or do you think it could be another issue?

It's on the off side bumper grille. Can't say I've seen that issue before!

Its all over the place at the moment. In the snow it changes from between -25 and +10!!

Does anyone have a part number from VW? I had a look online and the only thing I can see it thermostat sensors!!

Jumping from one temp to other might indicate that you got moisture in the plug....
Did you bump into a mountain of snow?

Would check that first, if you still want to replace it is 357919379A
