Well getting closer now. Hvae tapped up all the loom, its all wired in to the fuse box. Hope to have the dash back in, servo atytcehed and brakes bleed for the weekend ready for its first outing.

Intercooler sits behind the grill even with the twin lamps:

Will get plent of air there instead of others that run them behind the carsh bar

Engine bay still a bit of a mess but hope to have it tidyed this weekend. (it will be comming out at the end of the year for the bay to be painted!)

Got lots more done this evening. Changed the oil and filter, changed the fuel filter, fixed a blow in the exhaust were we had removed the centre box, Wired the fan up, fitted the induction cone with some new hose.

Engine as its stands tonight after running it for a while to make sure all is ok:

Need to make a bracket for the cone filter to attach to the slam panel. Just need to attach the loom in the engine bay then we can fit the servo back and make a servo pipe up.

Not long now until we can road test at the weekend all being well

cheers nearly done on the install.

Made a bracket to hold the air filter, speedo cable fitted.

Just a few bits to do then the engine bits are done for the time being:

Wire up alternator
Fix bloody exhaust blow
Find gasket for servo as theres a small leak and it makes an annoying hiss in the car
Fit new pedal covers
Tap thread in gearstick for gear knob
then re fit lower dash and centre console.

You never know by next week will be ready to give it a proper clean and start using it
