Lol yes progress seems slow for me.. Wont be done this week thats for sure as dont have much spare time.

I have ordered a few more bits to make sure I have a water temp gauge, speedo and rev counter. Hope to have it running this week though

Well started the wireing of the MK2. Had it running but as soon as the MAF is plugged it its runs like s h ite... So more investigation needed there.

have now wrapped most pof the loom, have ecu in place, removed all the mk2 engine loom thats not needed. Still have a few bits to sort

Wire fan in
Wire all the mk4 loom in the mk2 fuse box
bleed brakes,
refit dash
tap thread in mk4 shifter for mk2 gear knob
make bracket for air filter and mabey buy elbow for air filter

well it now starts on the key most of the wireing is done, just got to shorten the lamba wire, wire in the water temp gauge and the rad.

Last few bits of hose should be here tomorrow then it can go back together and look like a mk2 again.

Not long now. Just need to start saving for wheels now

it could have been rushed in and looking a mess with things not working but didnt wan to risk it for teh sake of an RR day.

We may well try and organise one again as theres enough of us from the Island
