I think it was only the mk1 s3 that had haldex even though they called it Quattro

yeah i belive so.

and nope as said only part time 4wd.

when the front looses tracktion it sends something like 20% power to rear wheels i believe

Think standard setup is 70/ 30 split but have heard folk do 50/50 but I havnt bothered as the 4x4 in my 4mo works like a dream no wheelspin and epic in bad weather

still loving my 4mo ,but havent had any really bad weather yet ,although it is meant to snow round my way this weekend
