I'm liking the TT surround. What have you done there? :afro:

It's not very clear

Hi. My TT surround is composed:

Gear frame in metal from Jom (in the past I purchased the same from MHW but in plastic): This gear frame have a TT fake ring

I toke TT oem ring, cowling and gearknob.

The fake ring is just stucked on the metal frame, and to fitting it to oem Golf tunnel is also stucked on the plastic oem Mk3 gear frame. In the past i have some problem with this solution. When I changed gear the TT frame teared out from Golf gear frame: a sh!t.

To solve this problem, i rebored the TT jom gearframe to fit the oem TT ring. To fix it i use screw that lock the ring to Jom frame and to golf mk3 frame. Now i solid and perfect working.

I hope to explain to you.

For all the others: Thanks so very much!

They look nice and expensive no doubt but are they actually necessary on a mk3?

It would be easier to use a smaller tyre or wheel spacers.

Some details to change (like the passat 35i roof handles), but this will be the final internal stance. So happy for final result.
