Outside temp reading
« on: 28 December 2012, 17:22 »
My mk4 temp reading is showing on the clocks is very wrong
Shows temps outside like -20 and constantly changes and beeps but the outside temp on
The climate display panel is showing the correct Temp

I have changed the sensor in the front bumber with a genuine one from tps
but dash is still showing wrong temp

Is there another sensor any where

pretty sure the one behind the bumper defanitly controls the temp for the clocks. not sure weather its a different one for the climatronic. but my old car didnt have the climatronic and still had the temp sensor behind the bumper for the temp on the clocks.

dodgey sensor ide say, unless theres another one somewere, but ive not heard of another sensor, and cant see why they would have two to do the same job?

i have seen my temp reading on the dash +1/-1 against the climate control reading.

They could be two sensors based on the above :undecided:

1.8t Aum. forge 007p. 17" bbs. R-tech stage 1 map.205/235. catch can.
