If you get/have the 57i kit then there is a pipe out the back of the filter to connect to the breather plus houses the air sensor,i ran this for a while and it does sound good,only noticed heat soak in heavy traffic/summer time tbh,modded airbox cold air feed and panel filter was to follow but you do lose the noise.

My modified airbox has a pretty decent induction note and thats without drilling or hacking holes in it. Its all about making thr intake opening larger and clearer with a cold air intake attached.

Yep mines got a 80mm hole and does give a little roar

so do you recon smoothing the inside and making a fat hole for the cold air feed is the way to go? i'm guessing the best place for the feed is the black plastic grilles below the bumper

Ive just a got the gen k&n kit come complete with brackets and breather filter cant wait to fit it and drive this car lol
