interior needs a quick shampoo etc and car is due its cambelt.

state of disks as you can see major need of changing





the underside mighty clean the underseal and care on these mk4s are really good







poxy intercooler this wont be changed untill abut later on more summer time as i wanna get the car back on road now

ive changed every bulb in heads lights all to osram nigh breaker plus lamps even the fog lights

ok so update. in no order

vr6 sachs clutch and g60 lightweight flywheel fitted
new vw gearbox oil
couple of breather pipes replaced
new non orange indicator bulbs (front)
front koni shocks and h+r springs
creation motorsport intake hose (not the best of fits to say they meant to be the best along side forge)

heat shield trial fitted due to above hose it wont line up right

only managed a quick start up due to ongoing saga with air con pump first wrong one sent from here, 2nd from ebay sent seized to hell so on my third one now should be here soon then that side of car finished. we hope!

Well update time. Where do i start. She started first time quite as a mouse  :cool:

The jetex cat back is a fantastic piece of kit. Is 2.75" straight through to the tips. BUT it not as good a fit as it should of been. The tips were abit far to right meaning the hole we cut like a 4motion wasnt enough the tips banged on the chassis but even then it was 2mm off the rear spring!

Dad saved day by re positioning the hanging bracket on the box and with abit of adjusting it now sits as it should.

Noise wise as id expect. Lovley tone on idle. Not over loud inside. Under throttle nice spirts tone.

Forge dv as good as ever. Nice tishhhhh sound.

The induction set up looks fantastic. Heatshield finishes off lovley. Nice deep tone on throttle.

Car returned to me garage to finish final bits. To find the coil pack wiring was shot. So new loom fitted. What a pig thst was!!!. New aerial stem and seal fitted.

Koni suspension with h&r springs are spot on. Looks lowered but gives a smooth firm ride. Very happy with it.

3" custom front pipe booked 15th of feb. It will be 3" down to a flange with a flanged decat pipe. My oem cat will have flanges fitted to allow easy mot passing. Also means the system isnt a mixed bag of sizes. It will be 3"-2.75" that it.

long time no update  :sad:


as promised the 3'' custom decat with drop in free flow cat and drop in decat



car miles better. turbo noise and far quicker spool

the car as a whole running great. my center dash display is/has packed up. that summit ill sort later  in year.

today got cracked on with the common mk4 issue




picked a replacement tailgate up in my colour rust free few month back from local scrappy. spent day sorting washer pipe/loom and treating the inners to protect for the future. greased up etc. handle removed and treated any bits of corrosion etc








once everything set and dry will swap boots over and then fit a new genuine anniversary badge to match my............

and that be it i hope before missus kills me  :laugh:

serviced forge 007p to new revised version (didnt know they had changed)





difference is the piston is a new shape they had issue with the piston leaking boost we will see how it goes!
