What do you mean by scotch locks?  :undecided:

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

What is wrong with using? Have used them in the past. As long as you get the correct sizes and don't put them in stupid places they should be ok, shouldn't they?  :undecided:

They shouldn't be too much of an issue using them for your marker lights just make sure they dont get wet,  a soldered and heat shrinked connection is 100 times better. just make sure you put an in line fuse as close to the wire you're tapping in to as possible. 5 Amp should do the job!
