if theres afault with the abs then the traction control lite will come as well, but doesnt mean theres out wrong wid ur traction control, cos tc cant work wid out abs, but abs can work if theres a fault wid tc, if u know wot i mean.

Hi Mate,
The lights havent appeared since - it was VERY wet at the time so i dont know if that has anything to do with it.
All good now though! (touch wood)

It's apparently a common problems that's occurs with cold/wet wether.
Mine came up last winter then didn't come back on until last month where they came on but have gone again now
It doesn't affect anything on my car and the t/c and abs still work when they are on so I just wait for them to go again

if thers something wrong wid ur maf sensor then ur tc lite comes on but goes off if u turn ur ignition off and back on again, tc lite will come back on when maf sensor plays up again etc etc. but cos ur abs lite is on as well i dont think the maf is the problem. the root of ur prob seems to be ur abs. maybe a dodgy abs sensor. have the codes read and see wot comes up.
