Mk3 gti handling like a dog

Recently came back to the vw world and purchased a mk3 gti drives like a dream until you find a left corner where all of a sudden it turns into a boat and the back end lifts up and almost spins out.... Just replaced a OS drop link due to it snapping off, all the shocks and springs are working as normal. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers Matt

Well it is a mk3 and they were poor from new, start by fitting a good quality spring and shock kit plus all new top mounts.

Yes change them.
I used to get the rear inside wheel up and the front used to bounce under load because of the poor damping of the shock.
It's as if the shock doesn't match the spring rate

Rear beam bushes when gone make the back end bounce around all over the place.
Sounds like you have worn suspension components if its that bad.
Mk3 is under damped, just need stiffer dampers and or springs to get it handling tip top
