Ok is there any way to check the vnt's or is it a big job
Doing a proper job on it is detailed in the link I put up, ie removal and stripping of turbo.
You can diagnose it by checking if your actuator sticks when pushed under hand pressure - obviously it shouldn't stick down, should move up and down with no hassle. This is on the rear of the turbo, beneath your inlet manifold. (I'll dig out another good thread about a how to)
You can clean it using special turbo cleaner, innotec IIRC...Or you can use another method - Oven cleaner

I have used the oven cleaner method and found it worked as have many others. A far cheaper alternative to innotec, however I do not recommend it.
