Rear seat rattle...
« on: 05 December 2012, 17:59 »
Rear seat rattling between the split, sounds like the hinge/whatever is loose/worn.

Is there a quick fix for this, or .....?

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

Have a look for a loose hinge. It should make a noise if its pushed down. Maybe pull them up and make sure a seat belt clip isn't hitting body

If its anything like mine ,its where the back of the seat rubs against the plastic trim on either side,wd40 shuts it up.

For the seat backs it can only be the middle hinge points.
Seat squabs - check under the front.

yeah its the middle hinge point, I'll check it at the weekend - apparently there should be a clip holding it all together....?
