Apparently some parts of the country has had some snow today, a couple of inches at most.

Loads of people late into work.
One even rang in and said the road out of his valley had been blocked by a Porsche that got stuck in the snow! :shocked: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Why cant we cope with a bit of snow these days?

I remember 1963 when we had many feet of snow! I still went to school and my Dad went to work, the milk still got delivered daily etc. etc.

Nothing here in sunny wales, but then again i hope to god it stays away. I hate driving in snow last year i almost had a few people drive into me. Its funny u woukd think if its snow in the the road people would be abit more aware bit put there foot down and still cut you up.....

Bournemouth is cold and damp, but very sunny and snow free. Hoping we DON'T get snow as it turns bad drivers into massive dangers and hazards.

My dad was working at Airfix in 63, it was so cold they stood/sat with their feet in cardboard boxes full of rags to keep them off the ground, the mice used to get in the boxes and snuggle in between their feet.
The yoof of today have no idea :grin:

Had snow on monday. bout inch and a half - two inches.

today snowed again. bout a cm or two.
