Those running the eBay 3" system look here!
« on: 25 November 2012, 13:40 »
Thought I would modify the famous eBay exhaust system...
I hit put a slash cut on the longer estate tailpipe. Might not be to everyone's taste but its different.
Marking it..

Cutting it..

Cleaned up the edge..

Old vs new

Fitted

What do you guys think?

I'm liking that mate, looks loads better than the rolled in pipe. Still like my 45deg downturn better though lol

I've been meaning to do this ever since prawny pointed out the tooled tip seems restrictive and I think this has just gave me extra motivation!!

a restriction is a restriction the way I see it, it's 3'' from the turbo to the tailpipe, then at the VERY end it rolls inwards and the actual exit is only 2.5''? No thanks.

Looks great mate :)

I've beening to put a slash cut onto mine but I don't have a decent chop saw and knew that a slash cut from a grinder wouldn't end well. Will get round to it when I'm home for christmas.
