hmmm i dunno about it really, i read it when i first bought the mk4 and it confuses matters a little

as i always thought stage two was pretty much anything apart from a turbo upgrade and you don't need a 4bar fpr either.

In my mind:

Stage one = very basic mods....
forge 007p recirc valve
new air filter

stage 2 = very varied
clutch/flywheel
Exhaust
Fmic
TIP
actuator
injectors
fuel pump
boost pipes
water/meth

etc etc

stage 3 = bigger turbo

R-tech custom remap - k04-001- 250bhp/311ftlb

"Project track car" has begun

I'm not too sure....
Normally most tuners try to cater for a wider customer base, that company seems a bit... narrow.

Admittedly there aren't many running big turbos with a well sorted handling package looking to take the next step but it doesn't mean a tuner shouldn't cater for it. Given that the mk4 platform is about 15 years old now, the market is heavily saturated with tame and generic bolt on mods for 1.8t that have been done to death, it's simply white noise in the UK tuning industry.

By labelling their stage 4 kit as what other competitors might consider their stage 3 kit, they have inadvertently placed themselves below that of their competitors and left themselves with less room to grow... and besides stage 4 just sounds too fast and furio yo!
