« on: 14 November 2012, 15:30 »
The temp gauge on my v6 4 motion has started rises slowly when im parked up to about 95 then the fans kick in and it drops back to 90 and is fine.

When im driving it is siting at 90 and drives fine. Could it be temp sender thermostat im not sure cus the fan is kicking in and then it rises for about 3 seconds then drops and fans cut off. i never heard fan kicking in if temp sender  :undecided:

the fans aren't triggered until the coolant is at 95.. but it should still look like 90 on the gauge. If you watch with vagcom the needle can be glued to 90 when the readings are 80-100 degrees!
I'll take a look saturday for you

doesn't sound like its overheating, could be a fan issue or it could just be you being paranoid!
