« on: 13 November 2012, 20:44 »
Anyone had this problem and know where the water is getting in? car is not used much and is parked on a slight higher than rear if that makes a difference? all carpets in car feel dry.
Any help guys would be appreciated!

I noticed a pool of water in the little compartment where you change your rear bulbs. Have a look in there because it may have overflowed into your spare wheel compartment. If it has there's a big round rubber bung at the bottom. If you push it out it'll fall out the bottom of the car behind the wheel and the water will drain out, then just push it back in.

and it would be worth while clearing out your rear drainpipes, i cut the crimp out so theres more freedom for water to drain out

there is a vent behind the bumper, the rubber seal perishs over time which allows water to enter the boot. its worth taking a look at the vent seals
