Should I ..... ?
« on: 08 November 2012, 19:12 »
As some of you know (most dont  ) I have a brand new set of JOMS ready, and I have got my front replacement brand new top mounts and bearings, from TPS, (Thanks whoever it was that recommended them) but I was thinking about replacing the rears too while its all off.

My question is isit worth it? as there around £50 to replace the rears.

Your thoughts please?

The rear top mounts aren't quite the same in the way as the fronts provide some sort of dampening. They just help attach the strut to the car. I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for the dvise guys, I just need time ro fit them now :) Im guessing that I fit them with the coilovers set at the highest setting then measure from the arch to floor to get the measurements correct all round? only thing Im wondering about is how do you get the the adjuster?

I found the best way was to use a pressure washer to blast the adjuster round that way you dont have to take the wheels off to get to them ......
