Which induction kit

Hi Guys,

Looking to get a decent induction kit for my AUM, But am unsure whats best and which is most recommended?
I have been looking at the carbonio, but there are quite a few different kits out there.

I have seen on JBS's website that they offer an induction kit from a company called Autotech, they seem okay but just wanted reviews.

What filter does everyone use and recommend?

I use HID kit filters with dump valves attached and a how much is my car now worth screw.

Just put an uprated panel filter in mate, K&N or ITG

ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Is that what people use over cold air induction kits? I did look in to a panel filter. But I want more of an induction sound? Will a panel filter give me the same sound as a cai

no they wont because its still an enclosed box where as a CAI isnt

Becareful if you use a cold air feed in this weather, it may soak up water and bend your valves, been there not fun.

I have always used the cotton cone filters off ebay and they work a treat and sound brilliant

Name these people or show me these threads, you only ever hear about it there's no proof, if water was bad for the engine then why do people (like myself) use water injection? say if you did hit a massive puddle and the front of you car was submerged underwater the amount of water u would suck up would destroy the turbo causing the engine to stall so there'd no pressure to suck up water plus you would let off throttle therefor shutting the butterfly valve on the throttle body, so only a little amount of water would get through, not enough to damage your engine.

im sorry but the whole cai and sucking up water thing is rubbish if you ask me.
