Watched this a few times too, can't wait to get my 3" DP fitted and Stage 2 Revo map in Jan.

Saying that also looking at the K04 conversion for later in the year too, got to love a sleeper

Is it just me or is there little to no difference between stage 1+2? It may feel different but the dials look almost identical imo.

You can really see the difference between stock and stage 1, not much between stage 1&2 where it matters lower down on the speeds.

My understanding is that the Stage 2 smooths the power band out giving a flatter torque curve with more useable power through the whole rev range.

Peak bhp figures only look to have around 15-20 bhp difference from what I can see which is negligible on the road.

Agreed it doesn't look much quicker in that video though :undecided:

True...but on a flat out pull through the rev range, the difference isn't as noticable as it is when going on-off the throttle coming out of corners etc...that's where you really feel the extra grunt of the St2 map.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

I must say that the stage II video disapoints me...I personnaly would be more interested in an overall topping the old stage I...

I reckon a quick trafficlight sprint would disappoint a stage II owner...

I also wonder if the results from JD Engineering differ from Revo...

Not really Steve, the reason I posted this it shows the difference.
When I drove a mk6 with intake+miltek+stage1 from all the talk on here  I was maybe expecting more than I should have.
Yes it was better and did temped me. Yea it reved better, was free'er flowing ,less held back, went a little better, was very smooth, but it wasnt to me that different. The video shows very much what I felt.
