How do you disconnect the rod from the back of the brake pedal,had a quick look but couldnt get it off,theres a white clip ?

Ia very tricky procedure, there are 2 clips that need to be pushed In an then the white clip can be removed, however, you need like 3 hands to do this, so the clip is like a matter of a quid or 2 so yank the feller out, it's the easiest way....
