Looks like the plug for the idle switch (at the back of the throttle body).

Its been like it since i had it, it runs fine, has a slight misfire but i put this down to needing new plugs . It does need me too press on the throttle to start it once started it runs a bit lumpy for 10 seconds then its fine, could this be linked?

That my dear friends is the auxiliary heater plug,  not used on uk models but it's plugged onto a plug blank on the plastic breather that goes into the rubber elbow on the throttle body, don't plug it into the throttle stop switch!!!! It will blow fuse 21 (engine electrics) and you will be searching for days as to why it don't idle.... But then, as I've said that if your smart, you'll listen, if your like me you'll be a disbelieving sod and plug it in, just to check like,

Point taken, if I find a plug laying around I won't just plug it in without researching a bit first.
