Ferodo or Mintex are also good choices.

I would either stick with: OEM, ferodo ds2500 or similar or just go for an appropriate big brake kit.

EBC employ all these green stuff, red stuff, yellow stuff for seemingly different markets - it's all marketing I'm afraid because whilst they appear to cater for different uses from fast road, track etc it does none of these well. Whether your concerned with longetivity, stopping power, consistency or noise.

My personal experience of them (not on my car but on other cars I've driven before and after fitting) is that they squeal quite a bit when cold as they aren't up to optimum operating temperature, this experience reflects their entire range I've experienced thus far; it takes too long to get up to operating temperature to be what I would deem 'safe' for road use, given the lack of force needed for day-to-day driving. When you do get them up to temperature I'm not sure they are much better than genuine OEM...

Only benefit so far as I can see was that they did produce less brake dust as others have pointed out - which I might add is a characteristic of most good aftermarket brake pads anyway, so nothing special there.

I only just read that it's your rear pads your looking to change, I definitely echo what Wayne has already suggested.

I have EBC red stuff on the fronts and they do make a difference when your at speed, as for how much difference they make on the rears, 40% of stopping power is the rear so if you have crap fronts don't bother
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Green stuff ive found on my mk3 vr is that they are good on back roads, initial bite is good. But they dont like to stop when they get hot.

Hitting the brakes at say 120mph... they have already faded by 80mph for example.

They say its a 200bhp limit but its more of a twisty slower bitey pad

not a fan of green studs, or EBC on the whole for pads.

Have used greenstuffs several times in the past on different cars, and been disappointed every time.
