vr6 laking the punch

guys im asking for some help ,


i have a vr6 obd2 that is  still quick and drives spot on ,but i notice that some times  she has a lot more punch than other times ,mostly it drives nice right up thru the rev range ,and others will wake you up very lively ,

ive serviced her ,cleaned throttle bodie out ,used injector cleaner cleaned all the connection under the bonnet, then used electrical greese ,

any ideas people ,im stuck

also read the ecu ,there is no fault codes ,

Sounds like ignition to me. So replaces plugs leads coil maybe on its way out

no miss fire at all ,if it didnt get livley now and again i would just assume this was how it was,cheers

i would have thought that if the plugs leads or coil was playing up ,i would see some sort of miss ,i might be wrong ,

Check if you coil is arcing

I had the same problem with my vr when I bought it, goes fine at low rpm but in the higher end its feels like its got no grunt and it would fart and splutter... Turned out to be the coil park.
