Now that's quite a hole.. how did you find that?

put my head under it today, gosh its big, its going to cost me a fortune, but i have no quotes as car is SORN cant take it out to garage....

Cut it out and weld in a new piece. It's child play.

As it's in a footwell (I think) it'd be pretty cheap to do. It doesn't have to look good when it's done, just primered inside and undersealed outside - it's not like you see it.. It's the perfect 'learn how to weld' job too

If it were a sill / body panel then it'd be hard and expensive to do. If you were willing to remove carpets/trim yourself and do all the painting etc, you could probably knock the price down a bit at a friendly local garage. Failing that, if you state location, someone on here may do a quick patch job for you..

Im from west yorkshire, i have taken the seats out and the carpet, and pillars as i wanted to wrap the pillars and change the headliner.... and i knew i had the hole, so i thort id throw it on ere and see what the mk3 wizards can advice me....

I take it that was the notorious disappearing floor bung. Patch up jobs dont come easier than this tbh.
