Yea She's running perfect, I'm running a vr6 clutch, passat pedal box with hydro clutch and the abf gearbox, on the mk3 front subframe and widetrack, with power steering from mk3 and mk3 288 brakes and 5 stud all round, also using the mk3 master cylinder, brakes feel fab.. i will be trying the eBay chip that I've been after for the last year, I had the engine for about 2 years as it came from my mk3, to be honest It runs really well, the power is really nice, handles very well, but I'm just after something more special, I would like to go down the route of abf turbo, however a good friend of mine has taken This route and his mk2 is stunning an has been done properly, I just can't sink the funds into it to do it correctly, so think I would be better for me and the funds available starting off with a forced induction engine,
There may be a 4mo being broken soon so I am looking to this perhaps, just after something that I can free up power more easily.
I am also after chasing a good friends VRT van, so when I say I'm unhappy, mainly because i have some rather stiff competition to stand out against, and the abf just ain't special enough in std ish form,
I'd also never driven a mk2 untill now so have nothing to compare against, but I'm having a culture shock from the mk3 I had as I loved it, I have my mk3 interior to go in so hopefully I will feel the love for this lil mk2 soon, just a massive jump from a fairly nice mk3 to a working progress mk2. It will get there!!
