one downfall I've found however is the lack of mass storage mode. That and Kies doesn't like connecting via the USB cable, only wireless

Never used Kies, only ever connected it via PTP or MTP and yes even with those it's doesn't like it much, I find I have to use PTP then swap to MTP and put it down to my computer being a bit stupid and on a prerelease Win8 - though it's pretty much the same as mass storage but without a drive letter, Dropbox automagically sync's all my pics I take and it's rare that I connect it to the computer.

Unbranded - yes

Stable - so far so good

Mobile company - 3

ROM - the one I sent you in the link via PM

Things are definitely smoother

Best thing is it installs straight over the top of ICS without losing anything

Cool, SAMMobile reckons today is D-Day for official JB.

Like you I'm hesitant to flash another rom on a new phone that costs a small fortune!  Maybe it's because my mothers phone got bricked :lipsrsealed: (fixed by Voda/HTC even with a different recovery and hboot!)

Oh by the way you'll have a Polish phone now - or at least because your CSC is now Polish

You can change it to a UK CSC, but that means you will wipe the device - Change it with this CSC selector but do take a backup of your phone/data/apps !!

lol oh well, it's working perfectly so I'll leave it. I decided to try it last night as I found the standard ICS firmware and I've got a dongle  to chuck it straight into download mode if anything went wrong
